About me…
Hi, I’m Annette, founder of Creatively Reflect. I created this space for women who are carrying too much for too long—women who want to regain clarity and calm, without the pressure to “do more.”
I understand what it feels like to navigate burnout firsthand. I’ve walked my own journey through grief, professional overwhelm, and the complexities of family life. As a woman of colour, I’ve experienced the unique societal and cultural pressures that can intensify stress, leaving you exhausted and disconnected from yourself.
In high-stress seasons, our minds and bodies can feel stuck in overdrive. Burnout isn’t just about being tired, it is a signal that your nervous system needs care. That is why I combine:
- Mindful Photography – to anchor your attention, slow racing thoughts, and reconnect with beauty in everyday moments
- Reflective Journaling – to process emotions, release mental load, and gain clarity
- CBT-Based Coaching – to build lasting emotional resilience and practical coping skills
With over a decade in health and social care, along with training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, life coaching, journal therapy, and mindful photography with Look Again, I bring both lived experience and evidence-based tools.
Creatively Reflect meets women exactly where they are, honoring emotional depth while providing practical strategies to navigate stress, overwhelm, and burnout. Mindful photography trains your mind to notice beauty, creating grounding moments that calm the nervous system. Please do not worry, you do not need to be a photographer nor have photography skills. Reflective journaling provides a safe space to untangle emotions, identify patterns, and reconnect with your values. CBT-based coaching gives evidence-based strategies to manage stress, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and strengthen emotional resilience.
At Creatively Reflect, there is no pressure to push or perform, only permission to pause, reflect, and rebuild gently.
